Administrative building of Iran Insurance Company, Branch Management for Qom Province
The Qom Provincial Headquarters & Central Branch Building Project was conceived as a benchmark of modern corporate architecture synthesized with high-precision structural engineering. Configured as two structurally independent blocks spanning six stories above the foundation, the development encompasses a total gross floor area (GFA) of 4,280 m². Beyond hosting the main commercial branch—engineered for high-level security protocols and heavy visitor throughput—the facility accommodates administrative offices, executive boardrooms, corporate management suites, and technical-administrative support divisions.
In the structural design phase, to attain an optimal response modification coefficient (RR
R-factor) and rigorously control inter-story drift limits, an advanced dual structural system combining moment-resisting frames with reinforced concrete shear walls was adopted. This structural synergy leverages the concrete shear walls to provide superior lateral stiffness against severe seismic actions, while capitalizing on the high ductility and energy-dissipation capacity of the moment frames—delivering exceptional structural resilience fully aligned with the latest revisions of the Iranian Code for Seismic Resistant Design of Buildings (Standard 2800) and Part 9 of the Iranian National Building Regulations.
To enhance visual aesthetics, segregate vehicular and pedestrian circulation, and accommodate dedicated visitor and staff parking, hardscape and landscape operations across an area of 2,270 m² were executed. This scope integrated engineered subgrade stabilization, modern stormwater drainage solutions, wear-resistant paving, and smart architectural ambient lighting.
Furthermore, the complex is equipped with state-of-the-art MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services, intelligent addressable fire detection and suppression systems, and spatial planning rooted in sustainable architecture tailored specifically to the hot-arid climate of the Qom region.
